Players control Maxine Caulfield from a third person perspective in Life is Strange. The player makes all of her decisions for her and ultimately guide the direction of the episodes based on the actions of Maxine.
If the player realizes a certain action led to unwanted outcomes then they can go back in time and make a different choice. Life is Strange features consequences for various actions made by Maxine. Some will be quick and be over with soon but some consequences could affect the player through the rest of the episodes.
