The Office app for Android works independently of any individual Office apps that you may have installed on your phone already such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. Note: If another version of the Office app was pre-installed on your Samsung Galaxy device, downloading the newer version will upgrade the older app. If you are signed into Office with a work or school account, your documents and files are saved in the Documents folder on OneDrive for Business.
